Farm Tours

Take a wagon ride out to see where the bison roam! On our guided tours we will tell you the story of our farm's history and many informative facts about the American Bison and agriculture.

Contact us for booking. Availability changes often, so come with a date in mind and we will work with you to make it happen. Dress for the weather as our tours takes place outdoors. Tours last an hour to an hour and a half. We have one on-farm bathroom, so we encourage you to plan accordingly to limit demand for it. For school groups we also offer an opportunity for participants to learn how to make homemade butter and/or ice cream on their own.

Parking: Lots of on farm parking for buses and vehicles.

Cost: Flat rate of $150 per group. For groups of more than 15, it is an additional $10 per person. Maximum of 60 people per ride.

On the tour we will take you out to the pasture to get a close-up look at the bison. On the tour we will share the history of our farm and the bison, facts about the bison, and different aspects of how our farm operates. We will answer any questions that you have about our farm, bison, or agriculture in general.

Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and start or end your outing in our farm yard. Petting area is available for visiting at supervisors' own discretion.

 

Directions to our farm:

From 395 North & South

Take exit 91 (91 W if from south) (Route 6 West). Go 2 miles (7 lights), turn left onto Allen Hill Road. Go 2 miles and turn right onto Creamery Brook Road. Go 1/2 mile, take a left onto Purvis Road (at Creamery Brook Farm milk can sign). Shop is at the end of the house.

From Intersection of Routes 6 and 169

On Route 6 go 2.5 miles east to Allen Hill Road. Turn right, at the light, onto Allen Hill Road. Go 2 miles and turn right onto Creamery Brook Road. Fo 1/2 mile, take a left onto Purvis Road, (at Creamery Brook Farm milk can sign). Shop is at the end of the house.
